Star Limit Break[edit | hide all | hide | edit source]

Limit Breaking your ships gives them a stat bonus, new and improved personal traits as well as Class Specific Buffs. Limit Break is available from the ship menu, you will need levels, coins, and dupes to limit break. It takes a total of 8 copies of unit to Max Limit Break (1 original and 7 dupes for LB)

Limit Breaking Bonus[edit | hide | edit source]

Limit broken ships will get their base trait upgraded (Depends on the ship) and new class specific bonus unlocked. Those bonuses are :

Destroyers

2★ [Torpedo Salvo] charges +1.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 2.

3★ During [Main Battery Salvo], adds a chance to activate [Cut-in].

Trait 2 upgraded to level 2.

4★ Increases [Torpedo Salvo] damage by 20%.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 3.

5★ During Night Battle, increases all damage by 20%.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 3.

6★ When a battle starts, launches 2 [Torpedo Salvo] in a V-shape that deals 60% damage. Does not consume any [Torpedo Salvo] charges.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 4.


Light Cruiser (Gun)
1★ -
2★ [Main Battery] will become charge-based, able to hold 2 charges with independent targeting during firing.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 2.

3★ During [Main Battery Salvo], adds a chance to activate [Cut-in].

Trait 2 upgraded to level 2.

4★ Increases [Main Battery Salvo] damage by 40%. Increases [Cut-in] damage by 20%.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 3.

5★ During Night Battle, increases all damage by 20%.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 3.

6★ [Main Battery] now can hold 3 charges with independent targeting during firing.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 4.


Light Cruiser (Torpedo)

2★ [Torpedo Salvo] charges +1.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 2.

3★ During [Main Battery Salvo], adds a chance to activate [Cut-in].

Trait 2 upgraded to level 2.

4★ Increases [Torpedo Salvo] damage by 40%.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 3.

5★ During Night Battle, increases all damage by 30%.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 3.

6★ After launching a [Torpedo Salvo] and during its travel, firing a [Main Battery Salvo] will combine both attacks into one, only landing when the [Torpedo Salvo] hits a target.

On contact, both attacks' damages will not affect CDs, ignores range, will use T-Adv, does 300% damage and will add all other damage increasing effects. Can only proc once per battle.

6★ When [Secondary Battery] is firing, firing a [Main Battery Salvo] will deal 200% more damage, will assume T-Adv for damage. Can only proc once per battle.

Heavy Cruiser (Myoukou & Haguro)

5★ Increases all damage dealt by 10%.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 3.

6★ After launching a [Torpedo Salvo] and during its transit, firing a [Main Battery Salvo] will combine both attacks into one, only landing when the [Torpedo Salvo] hits a target.

Battleship/Battlecruiser

2★ Reduces [Main Battery] CD by 5 seconds.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 2.

3★ During [Main Battery Salvo], adds a chance to activate [Cut-in].

Trait 2 upgraded to level 2.

4★ Unlocks Overshoot buff, for every [Main Battery Salvo] fired, increases the next shot's damage by 6%. Stacks up to 5 times, lasts till end of the battle.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 3.

5★ During Day Battle, increases [Main Battery Salvo] damage by 10%.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 3.

6★ [Main Battery Salvo] now has a 50% chance to penetrate the citadel of an enemy, increasing damage done by 20%.

If the penetrated target sinks, target will explode, dealing 12% damage to all other enemy ships.
Trait 1 upgraded to level 4.


Aircraft Carrier
1★ -
2★ During an [Airstrike], all Squadrons will launch 10 more planes.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 2.

3★ Bombers will drop their payloads before being engaged by enemy Anti-Air fire.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 2.

4★ During Day Battle, increases all damage by 30%.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 3.

5★ Increases aircraft reserves for all categories by 50 aircraft each.

Trait 2 upgraded to level 3.

6★ During Day Battle, gains the ability to launch an [Airstrike] immediately that deals 50% damage. This attack will not incur any plane loss.

Trait 1 upgraded to level 4.

Level Limit Break[edit | hide | edit source]

Ships can have their maximum level increased from 80 to 85 when they hit level 80.

Stat gains are also higher from 81 to 85.

A total of 12 Oath Chips (オースチップ) of the proper type (battlecruiser/carrier/cruiser/destroyer) is required.

Oath Chips can be obtained by trading in daily crystals, or as a rare drop on 7-2 (carrier) and N7-2 (cruiser)
